The Nimbus Project — Alpha 1.3

Nimbus is a free, closed-source, custom-built project (we plan to open source it later). No donations.
The three games' runtime components are bundled in each download. Original disc images are not included:
you need your own NTSC-U discs. Third-party license notices ship inside every download.

WHAT'S NEW

New servers in Europe
- London and Amsterdam join West US, Central US and East US. The server menu now has five regions on
  Linux, Windows and Android.
- Auto picks the region with the lowest latency, and you can still choose a region yourself.
- The menu still works with keyboard, gamepad and touch, and everything fits on screen.

Upgrading
- If you use the stock server list, it upgrades automatically. Custom server lists, settings, saves and
  linked files are kept.

How online play works (unchanged)
- The East US lobby still handles Quick Match and public rooms. Private join codes skip the lobby.
- Your game runs on your own device. Players try to connect directly and use a relay when needed.
- Auto still finds shared relays with players on earlier versions. To pin a match to London or Amsterdam,
  both players need Alpha 1.3.

Everything else
- No gameplay or renderer changes. The host, renderer, game cores and the Quick Match unlocked setup from
  1.2 are unchanged, and all 15 standalone module downloads are the same files as in 1.2.
- Install the full 1.3 download to get the new server menu.
- The unlocked memory-card seeds and quick-start states from 1.2 are still intentionally bundled. No disc
  images, other personal saves, source files or signing keys are included.

Testing
- Linux and Windows server menus were checked, including upgrading stock lists and keeping custom lists.
- The Retroid Pocket 5 upgrade and ping results for all five regions were checked.
- Budokai 2 matches between Linux and a Retroid Pocket 5, relay only, stayed in sync through both London
  and Amsterdam.
- This is targeted testing, not every game, platform pair and version. Crossplay coverage otherwise stays
  as listed on the website.

REQUIREMENTS
- Linux: Ubuntu 26.04, x86-64.
- Windows: Windows 11 x64, AVX2-class CPU, Vulkan-capable GPU, Microsoft Visual C++ x64 Redistributable.
  This release is Vulkan only.
- Android: Android 13+, arm64. Installs over the existing app and keeps your data.
